Prior to establishing Pentland, Barrie worked in communications in London and stood as a Labour candidate for the Ettrick, Roxburgh and Berwickshire constituency. Sir Robin Wales, Senior Associate
Sir Robin is a distinguished politician who brings a wealth of experience and understanding of local government practice based on his twenty three year career as both leader and Mayor of the London Borough of Newham.
During his tenure as Mayor of Newham, Sir Robin transformed the borough with a particular focus on inward investment to stimulate economic growth and provide services. Sir Robin was also the chair of London Council's from 2000-2006 and a board member of LOCOG (London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games)
Colum Mackey, Political consultant
Colum read law at Ulster university and graduated with a 2:1. After graduating, Colum undertook a sabbatical and was elected Vice President, then President of Ulster University Students’ Union, representing the union’s 26,000 members. He has served on the National Executive Council of the National Union of Students and is currently involved with NUS-USI, the national representative body for students in NI. Colum has undertaken internships in Washington DC and New York in a public affairs firm and commercial law practice respectively.
Max Harvey, Digital Designer
Max oversees Pentland's in house design and digital team. Prior to joining Pentland, Max worked as a freelance designer working on various projects for a range of clients in the private and public sector.
